It is with mixed feelings we say goodbye to 2019. There is good and bad in every year and 2020 will be the same. It is good to do life with a Church Family. We laugh and cry and hurt and heal and do it together. I am blessed by the babies who were born in the Church and now they are teens. I am blessed by our Seniors who have done it all and show us the way. I am excited by the new little ones who will grow up way to fast and will measure themselves at our knees, hips and shoulders. Church is a special gathering on a special day, made up of special people called to be together. Thank you Jesus for all the Blessings of 2019 and for all the wonder to come in 2020. We love you and want to serve you together.
Never. Give. Up.
Jesus was accused of not fasting, harvesting grain and healing on the Sabbath. His Family said “He has lost his mind”, the teachers of the law said he was possessed by Satan. All he had done was come to do good. He came to preach, heal and deliver people from demonic oppression and in return was accused, judged, and misunderstood but HE NEVER GAVE UP. There was an endless stream of need in front of him and he just kept going.
We are going through uncertain times that we don’t “deserve”. Our normal life rituals and celebrations have been removed from our lives. We can’t have family to our homes, celebrate special occasions together like birthdays, weddings, baby showers, graduations and funerals. We cannot get back the special times we would mark with celebration. We are isolated and there is an endless stream of need in front of us but we must follow Christ and NEVER GIVE UP, never stop doing good, never quit. Know there is nothing that will stop our lives from being full of meaning and purpose. Keep on Mission. Stand up and keep standing in the power of Jesus no matter what life brings. Be like Jesus!
